NENA Board

Meet the NENA Board of Directors. We are here to serve our neighborhood and make it a desirable place for current and future neighbors. Reach out to us with any questions or suggestions, or better yet, join us at our monthly NENA meetings.

  1. President

    Eric Larson moved into the neighborhood in 2010 with his wife Margaret Williams and their daughter, Maddy. Eric is an association management professional. He is executive director of Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra and chair of Elgin’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

  2. Vice President
    Heike Spayne is our liaison with McKinley School and a member of the planning committee for Hollywood on the Fox, a gala fundraiser to launch a campaign to repair and refurbish that school’s playground.

    Ivonne Hopkins-McCormack

  4. Treasurer

    Gail Cohen moved to Elgin in 1999 to take a job with the City. Her two sons attended U-46 K through 12. Her home is on Cedar Avenue near the bike path which is enjoyed by her family for running, biking, and dog walking

    Jeffrey Gill lives at 259 River Bluff Road in a 1915 Prairie Style house. Jeff has been a member of NENA since 2001 and is a commercial airline captain
